Daniels Story

In chapter 5, Daniel's father said that the radio was really important to the family.  He said that it gave them hope and...
"Hope was more important than bread."
What did he mean?  Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

  • Your response should be written in paragraph form and use proper grammar and punctuation.
Take a look at the rubric to see how your response will be graded.

I agree in Daniel's story that hope is more important that food.

Because...the radio gives you the word of what is going on and. Out of your Ghetto in the world that you no longer live in. Hope keeps you alive just like bread but hope is more than that. It is a feeling that you can survive and be who you are. Erika's violin playing gave them hope same with Daniels pictures.

  1. Noah, you're going to have to work on using proper sentence structure. You have a lot of run on sentences in your paragraph which make it hard to understand. We'll do some work on sentences in the near future
